Welcoming/Preparing to Meet with God | Special Music | Pastor Bill Johnson |
Eternal God, we praise you for yourself for there is no other. We ask your blessing on the life and ministry of this church and of those who gather here to worship you. We pray, O God, for understanding, patience, perseverance, and commitment. We pray for faith and action. Forgive us when we sit back and wait for someone else to do your work here and around this world. Thank you for your love, mercy, grace, and forgiveness that brings us new life in Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen. |

Prelude | “How Firm A Foundation” | Praise band |
Day by day, day by day, O dear Lord, three things I pray: To see You more clearly, Love You more dearly, Follow You more nearly, Day by day. |

Pastoral Greeting | “Come Christians Join To Sing” | Pastor Bill Johnson |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |

Christian Greeting, Announcements & Prayer Requests | “Day By Day” | Ernie Moore |
We trust in God the Holy Spirit, everywhere the giver and renewer of life. The Spirit justifies us by grace through faith, sets us free to accept ourselves and to love God and neighbor, and binds us together with all believers in the one body of Christ, the Church. In a broken and fearful world the Spirit gives us courage to pray without ceasing, to witness among all peoples to Christ as Lord and Savior, and to work with others for justice, freedom and peace. |
