Dear God, on this Sunday in Advent, we greet you with voices and hearts singing your praises. How blessed and thankful we are. Install in us a heart for service. Help us see those who are in need in our midst and, following your Son, inspire in us the passion to share our gifts with your people near and far. Forgive us when we turn our backs and hearts on those who hurt around us; fill us with your spirit of giving and love. Thank you for your loving forgiveness and mercy that brings us new life in Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen. |

The Great Prayer of Preparation | “Emmanuel” | Pastor Bill Johnson |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
