Holy and loving God, we are thankful for the promise of your unfailing love. We are thankful that you have established your church as a place where your presence and promise are manifest, even in the midst of the world’s distress. Empower and encourage us through the powerful presence of your Holy Spirit as we seek to be faithful to you and to share your Good News. Have mercy upon us and forgive us when we think only of our selves. Thank you for your loving forgiveness and mercy that brings us new life in Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.
