Almighty and most merciful God, you have brought us together in the name of your Son that we might experience your forgiveness, your love and your strength. Open our eyes to see the evil we have done. Renew us in spirit to be servants of your truth. Reconcile by your love those divided by sin. Heal and strengthen by your power those wounded by human weaknesses to see how both can bring us closer to you. May the world see the glory of Christ revealed in your people and come to know that he is the one whom you have sent. In His Holy name we pray. Amen

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

O Lord Our God, we thank you that so great a benefit has been given us by the Sacrament of your Son’s supper. Now as the grape was gathered and the grain harvested, so may we all be brought into your household, the Church. As the grape was crushed and the grain ground, so may our lives be spent in your service. Through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
