Welcoming/Preparing to Meet with God | Easter Song | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
Lord, we give thanks for the gift of life, of friendship, of community. All around us we see the beauty of your creation, in nature and in the faces of our neighbors. Help us, oh God, when we see only with our eyes and not with our hearts. Forgive us when we forget the gift of love and the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Lead us in your ways, that we might always be your Easter people, filled with hope and light. We ask in Jesus’ name, Amen. |
||
Prelude | Shout To The Lord | Choir |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
||
Pastoral Greeting | This Is a Day of New Beginnings | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
