God, you are an awesome God! From the beginning, you have taught us; from the first morning, you have loved us. In Christ, you forgave us; in the Spirit, you empower us. Our hearts sing with many blessings! We have been given so many gifts. Still, we often are slow to offer ourselves to others. We fall short and turn away, busy with our own lives. Help us, o Lord, to step forward in faith, to demonstrate your love, to let our hearts be on fire in your name, so that all will know your peace and hope. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen |
