Welcoming/Preparing to Meet with God Special Music  Rev. Christine Dickerson
God, we raise our voices in joy for the blessings we have received. We give thanks for your care to all people, and the unfolding of your purpose in the world. It is of beauty beyond measure. Yet sometimes we become angry and confused. We do not understand why bad things happen, why there is pain and suffering. We mutter that we have been forgotten, and question your love for your world. Forgive us, dear Lord. Forgive our arrogance and blaming, forgive our disbelief when bad things happen. Renew our assurance in your love and faithfulness, and your healing promise. Help us to reflect this love as we reach out to others in your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prelude “In Christ There Is No East or West”  Praise Band
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.
