Welcoming/Preparing to Meet with God | Special Music | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
We give thanks, God of love, for all we are given. We give thanks, God of grace, for our many opportunities, for life itself. We give thanks, God of mercy, that we have choice in what we do. We seek to please you, but our choices are not always right, and we are ashamed. We can be selfish, we talk about others, we turn our faces from poverty. Forgive us, Lord, and teach us right ways. Help us to embrace your words and live in them, and shine like lights of hope in a worried world. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen. |
||
Prelude | “My Peace” (As we return to our seats.) | Praise Band |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |

Christian Greeting, Announcements & Prayer Requests | “Gloria Patri” | Elder Fran Gotenstein |
If Your presence doesn’t go with us, We don’t want to leave this place Lord we need You near, As we go from here, To Lead us by Your love and grace. May Your presence fill us every day, May Your Spirit lead the way Lord to You we call, Let Your glory fall, And may Your presence go with us. Let Your glory fall, And may Your presence go with us. Go with us. |
