Welcoming/Preparing to Meet with God | “My Peace” (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
Lord, we hear the heavenly song, your song of joy and peace. We see the shining star, and follow it to your promise. We stand in your light, our hearts filled with your love. You are an awesome God. Help us to be your people, to reflect your light. We can be blind to hurt and need, loneliness and fear. Too often we see only our own needs, and let the poor suffer, or leave an argument unmended. Help us, we pray, to see beyond ourselves, to reconcile with all people, to accept your forgiveness, and to share with others the grace you have given us. We ask in Jesus’ name, Amen. |

Christian Greeting, Announcements & Prayer Requests | “Angels, from the Realms of Glory” | Elder Jackie Morgan |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
||
Passing of the Peace | “Gloria Patri” | Congregation |
God, source of all light, by your Word you give light to the soul. Pour out upon us the spirit of wisdom and understanding, that, through the Scriptures, our hearts and minds may be opened to know your will in our lives. Amen |
