Lord of love and light, we are so grateful that you have come before us to lead the way. When we reflect on our lives, we understand the depth of your grace, and the meaning of your sacrifice. You gave everything so that we might have everything, and our hearts overflow with joy. Like the woman at the well, we come to you for the living water that is truly life. Understanding that you see our inmost secrets, we feel embarrassed and undeserving. Forgive our lack of trust in your saving death. Forgive our sins and eyes that do not see. Let us, like the Samaritan, be surprised and healed, and begin this day to live our faith. We ask in Jesus' name, Amen.

There is no sin so terrible that God cannot forgive
There is no hurt so terrible that God cannot heal
In Jesus Christ, God has forgiven us and set us free!

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

O God, light of the minds that know you, life of the souls that love you, strength of the thoughts that seek you, help us to know you so that we may truly love you and truly serve you, through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
