Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
Holy One, you search us and know us. You love us always, and long for our happiness. In every new day, we see the wonder of your creation, from the smallest flower to a smile from a stranger and the hope we feel in our prayers to you. How can we forget such love, or doubt your presence? The world seems so big, dear Lord, and we are so small. Yet to you we matter, and for us you listen, and hear. Help our unbelief! Forgive our failing hearts, and lift us towards your light. Make our sins fall away, and the strength of your love be our shield. for we are yours and we ask in Christ's name. Amen. |
||
Life of the Church | Special Music | Elder Christine Lutke |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | In the Cross of Christ I Glory | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
||
Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
Guide us, O God, by your Word and Spirit, that in your light we may see light, in your truth find freedom, and in your will discover your peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. |
