Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Pastor Bill Johnson |
You alone, Lord, know my thoughts. You know when I am filled with joy, and you know when I am desperate for help. You love me fully, always, and I am humbled by such grace. Yet in my life, I can be unkind. I call gossip, sharing; I call selfishness, prudence; I call ego, wisdom. Help me, God! Help me to accept my failings and seek higher ground, to let no one suffer when I can help, to share what I have, to give to those in need, to treat all with respect. Forgive my past, and lead me into your future. We pray in Jesus’ name, Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Elder Joyce Johnson |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen. |
||
Passing of the Peace | May Jesus Christ Be Praised | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
