Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
If I were asked, my God, what is the best gift I have ever received, I would answer that it is your love. Knowing that you are always waiting for me, seeking me, gives me comfort and strength. Your love is a generous love, and the grace you offer helps me to love forward no matter what life brings. Help me, I pray, to have a generous spirit. To give to others what you give to me. Forgive my unkind acts or thoughts, I pray, and heal my tender heart. In Jesus' name, Amen. |
||
Life of the Church | Special Music | Elder Morella Larsen |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | Go, Tell It On The Mountain | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
||
Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
Guide us, O God, by your Word and Spirit, that in your light we may see light, in your truth find freedom, and in your will discover your peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. |
