Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
In you, O God, we find our joy! You have given us the gift of new lives, a chance to start over, the assurance of your love and grace. Like the flowers of spring we can shed the weight of winter, and allow ourselves to be released with the open hearts of children, your children; created to enjoy the world you have given us and to live peacefully with each other. We are grateful, and happy, yet find ourselves too easily falling onto old patterns. Where there should be relief we find failure, and instead of forgiveness, resentment and anger. Forgive us our distrust and our inability to accept positive change. Help us to soften our hearts and to be open to your gifts and direction. Lead us, we pray, always in your ways. In Jesus name, Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Dirk Voerman |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | All Things Bright and Beautiful | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
||
Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
Guide us, O God, by your Word and Spirit, that in your light we may see light, in your truth find freedom, and in your will discover your peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen |
