Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
When I look into the night sky, O Lord, I see so many stars, the sky is so vast, and I feel so small. Yet you love me, and offered your Son that I might live, be forgiven, realize hope. I am humbled by your Grace and knowing that my life matters. Let me not become proud, dear God. Forgive me when I think I am more important than another, or am jealous of someone else’s success. Teach me to be grateful for what I have, open to the wisdom of those I meet, and generous with whatever I am given. Set my feet upon the path Jesus walked, filled with grace, truth and love. In his name I pray, Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Elder Jeff Morgan |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | God You Spin the Whirling Planets | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
||
Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
Guide us, O God, by your Word and Spirit, that in your light we may see light, in your truth find freedom, and in your will discover your peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen |
