PSPC Worship Service

I rejoice, God of all creation, in the thrill of life. In friendships, music, nature. In Sunday mornings, experiencing your presence. I find peace in quiet mornings, when I hear birds sing, and as the sun sets, and crickets sound their call. It is beautiful, and it is your gift to me. I am thankful. Yet even in the midst of such beauty, I can experience fear and anger. I might become jealous of another and speak harshly. It is easy to lose sight of the light all around me and dwell in a place of emotional harm. I know you don't want that for me, Lord, and I ask forgiveness when I don't hear your voice of calm, of healing and grace. Change my heart, O God, and release the happy child that is locked within me. Let me reveal to the world the power of your love to make new beginnings for all who ask, as I ask, in the name of the Christ. in his name, Amen.

Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us.
Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

Guide us, O God, by your Word and Spirit, that in your light we may see light, in your truth find freedom, and in your will discover your peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
