Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
Our God our Creator, we live because of you; not only the life that comes from every breath, but the living that comes from the love and grace you offer us. We praise you with grateful hearts as we drink the Living Water that guides us, sustains us and is our Hope. How then can we have any fear or doubt? And yet, we do. We mourn the number of our days and hearts made empty by loss. We crave your healing and ask forgiveness, so our hearts and minds will overcome what is dark and be embraced by the light, your light, that wipes away all tears. We rejoice with confidence as we pray in Jesus' name. Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Dirk Voerman |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen. |
||
Passing of the Peace | Lift Up Your Heads, Ye Mighty Gates | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
