Welcoming My Peace (As we return to our seats.)  Rev. Christine Dickerson
God of all, how bright is the morning for us, your children. Even an imperfect world is made whole by your hand, and the knowledge of your presence gives us peace. We have experienced healing through gifts and friendships, and received blessings in the laughter of children or the smile of a stranger. As we prepare to remember the gift of your grace given through the life of your son Jesus, forgive us our times of ignorance and failings we pray, and set us firmly on the path to the wondrous Cross. We ask in the name of the Christ, Amen.

Life of the Church Special Music  Cindy Anderson
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us.
Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen.

Pre-Service Music

Passing of the Peace Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee  Congregation
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

Prelude Gloria Patri  Praise Band
Teach us, O God, by your Word and Spirit, help us to hear, know and live the Gospel so that we might proclaim in work and deed, the Good News that you offer us this day. A message of peace to the whole community and love with faith through Christ our Lord. Amen

Psalm 32:1-2, 6-7, 11 New International Version (NIV)

1  Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.
2  Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord does not count against them
and in whose spirit is no deceit.
6 Therefore let all the faithful pray to you while you may be found;
surely the rising of the mighty waters will not reach them.
7  You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble
  and surround me with songs of deliverance.
11 Rejoice in the Lord and be glad, you righteous; sing, all you who are upright in heart!
