When we hear your voice call to us O God, how can we help but answer? You lift us from places of despair, you encourage us along our way, you offer chances for new beginnings. We hear your voice in the wind and in the silence of the night, and we are thankful. In this world of noise and trouble, there can be times we can’t hear you and continue on our broken way. Our ears fail to hear, we don’t listen. We sin. By your Grace we pray to be found, to be healed, and forgiven. Let your voice be a shout! that startles us back to life, a life of joy, hope and generosity of the Spirit. We ask in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us.
Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

Lord, open our hearts and minds by the power of your Holy Spirit, that as the Scriptures are read and your Word is proclaimed, we may hear with joy what you say to us today. Amen
