Prayer of Adoration & Confession (unison)
With hearts of light we turn towards you, Living God. Your presence is all around us, leading us forward if only we will listen, receive, and see! Because of you we go out in the world with good intentions, seeking to reflect what is good in your world. When we fail to see, or delay a helping hand, feel guilt, and wonder how you can still love us. Yet you do! By your Grace we will try again, by your love we will become love, and by your presence we will have the strength to overcome our weaknesses. Forgive us we pray, and guide us forward to ‘pass it on!’ in the name of the Christ. Amen.
(A moment for silent reflection)
Assurance of Pardon
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us.
Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen.
