Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
Our hearts rejoice in you, our God. We are thankful for so much, from the most unexpected joy that surprises us to knowing you are near whenever we need you. Always, you listen; always, you wait. Yours is a patient love, one that can be trusted. In our foolishness, we can question our faith because we cannot see it. When we are happy, its easy but when we are afraid, it is hard. Forgive us our sins of doubt, and let our hearts and minds be victorious over the darkness of those who would harm, or the edges of life that cause us fear and pain. You are the solid rock, the unseen force, the presence that moves through us like the wind. In your forgiveness we are transformed and it is with grateful hearts that we give thanks in Jesus’ name. Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Elder Donna Genett |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | Come Christians Join To Sing | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |

Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
Lord, open our hearts and minds by the power of your Holy Spirit, that as the Scriptures are read and your Word is proclaimed, we may hear with joy what you say to us today. Amen |
