Powerful and loving God, abide with us. You are all powerful, and near us at every hour. Your presence is found in sunlit days and in the rains that refresh the barren lands. Your Grace replaces the pain in our times of need, and your desire for us is of calm, and peace. All creation waits for your hand to sweep away fear, and our hearts crave to walk forward in your name, for your name is Love. Even with all this knowledge, we too often stand without moving, or believe we can’t make a difference. Forgive our doubt and our silence. Fill our hearts with confidence and a strength that has no fear. Let the world hear the true voice of faith and hope, made stronger by many walking as one. Let your grace be our staff, and our actions your voice, for you are God and we are yours, only yours. We ask in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us.
Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

Lord, open our hearts and minds by the power of your Holy Spirit, that as the Scriptures are read and your Word is proclaimed, we may hear with joy what you say to us today. Amen
