Life of the Church | The Blood Will Never Loose Its Power | Elder Jim DeHart |
In the midst of chaos, O God, you are there to give us calm and peace. Through our faith we understand your eternal presence, and in trust we seek to surrender our hearts to you, knowing you offer comfort in any storm and forgiveness throughout our lives. From beginning to end, you are there. In eternity, you are there. We give thanks for your Grace and love demonstrated in Christ. Forgive us we pray, when our sins shadow the light in our lives. Restore in our hearts a desire for kindness, caring and thoughtful action. We pray and ask in Jesus’ name. Amen. |
||
Passing of the Peace | Great Is The Lord | Congregation |
Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, was risen for us, and reigns in power over us. Sisters and brothers hear this good news. Through Christ we are forgiven and reconciled with the Creator of all. |
||
Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
