Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
One: We give thanks, O Lord, for the beauty of this morning; Many: Let the heavens hear the joy of our song! One: We see your beauty all around us, ALL: We rejoice in the majesty of Creation! |
||
Life of the Church | The Blood Will Never Lose It | Deacon Mwanza Furaha |
Maker of all, your hand brings such beauty into our lives! Even in times of struggle, when we don't always see your light and presence, you are near; and when our days are filled with joy, we begin to understand your purpose and hope for creation. In our humanness we may wonder and doubt even while standing in the brightest sun, until a song rises from a bird in flight, or a child takes our hand. Forgive our wandering ways, dear God. Guide us on your paths, restore our weary hearts, remind us of the need for tears and for genuine laughter. In you, all things are possible! let us be your miracles every day, in Jesus' name. Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | All Creatures of Our God and King | Congregation |
Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, was risen for us, and reigns in power over us. Sisters and brothers hear this good news. Through Christ we are forgiven and reconciled with the Creator of all. |
||
Prelude | Love Is the Answer | Praise Band |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
