Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
One: Our faith looks up to you, our God; Many: We look to the heavens seeking your face. One: You are our hope and pleasure; Many; It is a wonder beyond measure. One: You seek us, ALL: We answer! |

Life of the Church | There Is A Fountain | Deacon Jim DeHart |
God of all, how bright is the morning for us, your children. Even an imperfect world is made whole by your hand, and the knowledge of your presence gives us peace. We have experienced healing through gifts and friendships, and received blessings in the laughter of children or the smile of a stranger. As we prepare to remember the gift of your grace given through the life of your son Jesus, forgive us our times of ignorance and failings we pray, and set us firmly on the path to the wondrous Cross. We ask in the name of the Christ, Amen. |
||
Passing of the Peace | Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee | Congregation |
Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, was risen for us, and reigns in power over us. Sisters and brothers hear this good news. Through Christ we are forgiven and reconciled with the Creator of all. |
||
Prelude | Jesus, Name Above All Names | Praise Band |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
