Our events this week have changed a bit from previous weeks.
 
PRAYER AND PRAISE TIME today and STAYING CONNECTED on Friday, August 28th are cancelled.
 
BIBLE STUD, however, will be held on Thursday August 27th  at 1:30 pacific time.  Access to the Bible Study meeting will be via  Zoom.  Please check your e-mail for instructions to join the Zoom meeting.

We would like to extend a "Happy Birthday" to a very special lady to us all. Happy Birthday, Evelyn Wulf!! May you be blessed with God's care throughout the year.

One: As one body we have many members,
each uniquely gifted for a particular purpose.
All: We, who are many, are one body in Christ.
One: Prophets and poets, thinkers and teachers,
artists and advocates, consolers and caregivers.
All: We, who are many, are one body in Christ.
One: With thanksgiving we offer our varied gifts
in service to Christ, who makes us one.
All: Let us glorify the Lord!

One: Our help is in the name of the Lord,
who made heaven and earth.
Let us come before God our Maker,
who formed us in the divine image
and transforms our hearts even now.

One: Jesus asks,

One: Sisters, brothers, siblings in Christ,
by the mercies of God,
the Spirit transforms and renews our minds,
and washes us in grace.
Know that you are forgiven and be at peace.
All: We are forgiven. Thanks be to God.

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

All: Faithful God, how blessed are those
who hunger and thirst for righteousness.
Sanctify us by your Word and Spirit

I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, to present yourselves as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God.

God of unending gifts, we praise you for your abundant goodness.
As you are generous, we want to be generous too.
May the gifts we bring extend your generosity into the world,
