Pre-worship Music | I Am Loved | Alex Danson |
Good Morning Palm Springs Presbyterian Church! A few reminders for this week: Our church office remains closed throughout the week due to the pandemic. However, if you do need to visit the church for some reason, please call the office and let us know. The staff will arrange a time to meet you at the church. And, it is very important to remember if you do enter the church, you must wear a mask and maintain the social distancing at all times. We are collecting information now for our new Sonshine Newsletter edition, which will be available in early February. Please send us your pictures, articles, suggestions and any other contributions to our newsletter. We welcome your input. For those of you that kindly voted for our new deacons and elders, thank you. Our new officers will be installed and begin their important duties very soon. We are looking for a lead for our weekly Zoom Bible Study. If anyone is interested in leading this, please call the office. We have several members that would like to have our Bible Study start again and would be able to participate on a weekly basis. We have a very special person to extend a Happy Birthday to this week. Happy Birthday Dirk Voerman! We wish you a wonderful birthday, Dirk, and may God watch over you all year long for good health and happiness. |

Welcoming | My Peace | Rev. Sally Wills-Watkins |
Gracious and loving God, you see into us and know us fully. You know that we are creatures in constant need of your care. We confess that we have only heard your word when it suited us, and followed your will only when it met our own desires. We have failed our nation, neighbors, families, friends and ourselves. Give us ears to hear your wisdom. Lead us to honesty and faith, that we may begin again with renewed strength, to the glory of your name. Amen. |
||
Passing of the Peace | We Shall Behold Him | Congregarion |
Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ. Christ died for us. Christ rose for us. And Christ reigns in power. For us. Hear and believe the good news of the gospel: in Jesus Christ we are forgiven. |

Life of the Church | Lord WeÀã.Âþ | Marlee Clymer |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
||
Prelude | Gloria Patri | Alex Danson |
Lord, open our hearts and minds by the power of your Holy Spirit, that as the Scriptures are read and your Word is proclaimed, we may hear with joy what you say to us today. Amen |
