Pre-worship Music I'll Fly Away  Alex Danson
Good Morning Palm Springs Presbyterian Church!

We are very pleased to informed you your Session met this last week, and during their meeting they approved the Mission Assessment Report prepared by our Mission Assessment Team, including Bill Cameron, Cindy Anderson, Lynn Hamilton, Steve Lutke and Cindy Stewart.  Please join us in extending a very warm appreciation to this team for such outstanding work.

The completion of our Mission Assessment Report is the first step in our search for a new pastor.  Our second step will be selecting our Pastor Nominating Committee, which will begin as soon as we receive approval from the Presbytery on our Mission Assessment Report.

In preparing for our Pastor Nominating Committee, we would like to extend an invitation to all members to please contact the office if you would be interested in serving on this very important committee.  The committee will consist of seven members of our church.  The only requirements to be a member of our Pastor Nominating Committee is to be a member of our church and have a strong passion to help lead us in selecting a wonderful pastor for our church.

Your 2021 Pledge cards will soon be mailed out to you.  These are for you to use if you so desire when making you very welcomed gifts.

Our new deacons, Peggy Lynn, Melissa Yezek and Morella Larsen, and our new elders, Bill Cameron and Bill Miller were installed during the Session meeting this past week.  Their installation was recorded so you will be able to see this during our service today.  Please extend our new deacons and elders your congratulations and a note of gratitude for accepting these important positions for our church.

Gathering Song God Welcomes All  Hymn #399
One: Wordlessly, my whole being waits for God alone; God is my one true source of hope.

All: Only God is solid ground and an able protector; I will not be overthrown.

One: On God rests my wellbeing and my good name; I am grounded and secure in God.

All: Trust in God at all times, my friends; keep yourselves open to God, who is indeed our safe place.

Welcoming My Peace  Rev. Ron Duvall
One: Let us come before the God who has repeatedly demonstrated a love for us beyond all measure, trusting in God

Passing of the Peace Jesus Paid It All  Congregarion
One: God so loved the world that he gave his only son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but have eternal life.

All: Indeed, God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

Life of the Church All Creatures of Our God and King  Marlee Clymer
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

Prelude Gloria Patri  Alex Danson
All: Self-revealing God, help us to hear the written word in ways that open us up to the living Word, Jesus the Christ. Amen.
