One: Let Godk_in

One: O Lord, our Sovereign, how majestic is your name in all the earth. We marvel that you are mindful of us and desire to be at one with us. Hear our words as we confess together our need for your mercy and grace.

All: God of all glory and power, you have shown yourself to be, as well, a God of infinite grace and compassion. We can hardly begin to know what a privilege it is to be included among those you call your own. Yet, through Jesus the Christ, we are included in that glorious company. Forgive our frequent indifference, our purposeful ignorance, and even our fear of being so close to you. May we, like Moses, be willing to humble ourselves and enter your holy ground. May we learn from experience, our own and others, how to be a people who honors and serves you, for your glory and our joy. Amen.

One:

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

All: Prepare us, O God, to hear and receive the word you have for us today. By your grace, enable us to accept the truth and challenge of your word, that it might be reflected in the way we live each day. Amen.

I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, to present yourselves as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God.
Let us offer our lives to the Lord.
Romans 12:1

God of unending gifts, we praise you for your abundant goodness.
As you are generous, we want to be generous too.
May the gifts we bring extend your generosity into the world,
so that all people may be made whole by your goodness and grace. Amen.
