ONE: May the peace of Christ be with you.
ALL: And also with you.

ALL: God has called us together to worship.
ONE: We each come from our own situations, bringing our own gifts.
ALL: Together, God unites us in our different abilities to form one body.
ONE: As one church, we accept God

ONE: All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God; yet God is merciful as well as just, quick to hear and to forgive. Let us then boldly confess our sins before God:
ALL: God of glory, Lord of Love, you have called us together to be one body, yet we have prioritized our own interests instead of showing compassion to all of your people. You have asked us to share in your mission together, but we have excluded people with God-given gifts. When you call us to be unified, we have neglected the connections and communications that make us one. For these and every way we sin against you, we ask your forgiveness.

ONE: Christ was born for us. Christ lived for us. Christ died for us. Christ rose for us. Friends, hear and believe the good news of the gospel: in Jesus Christ we are forgiven.
ALL: Hallellujah! Amen!

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

O God, open our ears to your teaching, so that our mouths can learn to sing your praise, our feet can learn to follow your steps, and our hands can do your work in this world.
