Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer of all things, you have promised abundant life to all your children because of Jesus’ resurrection. We praise you in all we do and think; help us, we pray, to share our words and actions to clearly address the inequities and disparities among all your creation. Strengthen our resolve to be leaders as we speak for those who hunger and thirst for righteousness; who are hungry and thirsty; who are homeless and without work. Forgive and have mercy upon us when we turn our backs on your creation and your children. Thank you for your love and merciful forgiveness in Jesus Christ; our Lord and Savior through whom we are renewed. Amen

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

We trust in God the Holy Spirit, everywhere the giver and renewer of life. The Spirit justifies us by grace through faith, sets us free to accept ourselves and to love God and neighbor, and binds us together with all believers in the one body of Christ, the Church. In a broken and fearful world the Spirit gives us courage to pray without ceasing, to witness among all peoples to Christ as Lord and Savior, and to work with others for justice, freedom and peace.
