Welcoming/Preparing to Meet with God | Special Music | Pastor Bill Johnson |
O God, whose peace passes all understanding, we give thanks for those who reach out with a loving hand to help and to share your loving grace. We praise you for your presence and gracious love. Forgive us when we turn away from opportunities to serve you and to make your name known. Help us to channel our energies in ways that will glorify you and help others. Forgive us when we fall short of sharing you. Thank you for the blessing of your forgiveness; thank you for your love, mercy, and grace that brings us new life in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen |

Prelude | “Great Is The Lord” | Praise band |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |

Pastoral Greeting | “Give Thanks - Psalm 136” | Pastor Bill Johnson |
We trust in God the Holy Spirit, everywhere the giver and renewer of life. The Spirit justifies us by grace through faith, sets us free to accept ourselves and to love God and neighbor, and binds us together with all believers in the one body of Christ, the Church. In a broken and fearful world the Spirit gives us courage to pray without ceasing, to witness among all peoples to Christ as Lord and Savior, and to work with others for justice, freedom and peace. |
