Welcoming/Preparing to Meet with God | “Lead On, O King Eternal” | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
God of Creation, Lord of Beauty, Spirit of Peace, we are humbled by your attention, your love, and your patience. You are always present, we are never alone. How thankful we are for your steadfast assurance. Still, when there is pain and suffering, and storms strike the innocent, we fail you. We wonder why these things happen. We feel the anger of the lost and broken. Heal us, O Lord, and help us to understand. Help us to experience your deep love for those who hurt, and to carry that love to those in need. Help us to be generous in our presence, and steadfast in our faith. We ask in Jesus’ name, Amen. |

Christian Greeting, Announcements & Prayer Requests | In Unison | Elder Nancy Spencer |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |

* Call to Worship | “Jesus Loves Me” | Hymn #483 (all) |
Bind us together, Lord, bind us together with cords that cannot be broken. Bind us together, Lord, bind us together, Lord, bind us together with love. There is only one God, there is only one King; There is only one body, that is why we can sing. Bind us together Lord, bind us together with cords that cannot be broken. Bind us together, Lord, bind us together, Lord, bind us together with love. |
