Welcoming/Preparing to Meet with God | “My Peace” (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
Gracious God, you are patient in your love for us. Always, you know our ways, and always, you wait while we struggle with what we think we know. You wait, while we walk in blindness. And when we look to you, you give us sight and surround us in your unending love. We give thanks and praise, O God, and pray that you will deliver us from our weaknesses and give us the strength to reject what is false and embrace what is true, so as your people we will reflect your grace. Help us, we pray in Jesus’ name, Amen. |

Life of the Church/Announcements | Special Music | Rev. Narcissis Tucker |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
||
Passing of the Peace | Psalm 95 | Congregation |
God, source of all light, by your Word you give light to the soul. Pour out upon us the spirit of wisdom and understanding, that, through the Scriptures, our hearts and minds may be opened to know your will in our lives. Amen. |
