Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
The earth is yours, wonderful God, and all that dwells in it! It's beauty is a feast for our eyes, and its people our source of love, friendship and community. How thankful we are, for all we are given. How grateful to be loved by you. Merciful One, we confess that we don't always love our neighbor. Sometimes we are afraid, other times we just don't care. Even knowing it makes no sense, we harm through omission or what we believe is self preservation. Forgive us, we pray. You are our Lord, help us to enrich our lives by awareness of our neighbor. Even as we are forgiven, let us be your loving people. In Jesus name, Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Deacon Pauline Gregg |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ. reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen |

Passing of the Peace | Go, Tell It On The Mountain | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
||
Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
God, source of all light, by your Word you give light to the soul. Pour out upon us the spirit of wisdom and understanding, that, through the Scriptures, our hearts and minds may be opened to know your will in our lives. Amen. |
