Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
Eternal God, your miracles adorn every new day. From the barren earth you bring beauty, from the smallest seed grows abundant life. Even water has a song as it emerges from rock, or falls from the sky. No moment is without your presence, no vision is without your hand. We see your works and rejoice; yet we forget that we are part of these works. We are made in your image and fed by your Word. We are sustained by your grace and flower through your love. Without you, we would surely wither and fade. Forgive us, we pray, when we forget to tend to our faith and the garden of our lives in you. Sustain us, and help us to overcome the weed that is sin. Cast your sunlight upon us, that we will turn towards your sustaining truth, always. We ask in Jesus name, Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Elder Dick Schultz |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | When Morning Gilds the Skies | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
||
Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
Guide us, O God, by your Word and Spirit, that in your light we may see light, in your truth find freedom, and in your will discover your peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. |
