Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
The glory of your Spring is all around us, O God. We can see the splendor of the mountains, and feel the renewal of life everywhere. There is a sense of expectation and wonder, a memory of hope to come, a memory that has followed us since childhood. We are deeply thankful for the gift of life, and Christ's victory over death. We are reminded of our human nature, and our need to be forgiven for wrongs done. In our comfort we might take the Cross for granted, as if forgiveness is needed by others but not by us. But we know this is not true, and come to you asking union with this Lenten season, renewal of our troubled hearts, and freedom from the distraction of spiritual winters. We come to you, the Way, a Truth and Light. In Jesus' name, Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Deacon Kay Chabot |
Hear the Good News! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know you are forgiven and be at peace. Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | Lead On, O King Eternal | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |

Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
Teach us, O God, by your Word and Spirit, help us to hear, know and live the Gospel so that we might proclaim in work and deed, the Good News that you offer us this day. A message of peace to the whole community and love with faith through Christ our Lord. Amen |
