Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats) | Rev. Les Bishop |
Lord, you have given us the sun and the stars. We are rich beyond measure, not by the wealth of the earth, but by your love and grace. We are born, we grow, we live our lives. Each breath is a gift because we can’t know tomorrow, and we give thanks upon thanks for each new day, every new friend, one moment of joy. But all your people do not have joy, dear God. Some have no home, are outcast, are hidden from our sight because we choose not to see. Forgive us! Give us sight borne from your Word, and lead us to reach out to the stranger, to heal as we are healed, to receive hope as we receive hope through Christ. Hear our prayer we pray in Jesus’ name. Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Elder Morella Larsen |
Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, was risen for us, and reigns in power over us. Sisters and brothers hear this good news. Through Christ we are forgiven and reconciled with the Creator of all. |

Passing of the Peace | Come Christians Join To Sing | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |

Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
Lord, open our hearts and minds by the power of your Holy Spirit, that as the Scriptures are read and your Word is proclaimed, we may hear with joy what you say to us today. Amen |
