ONE: May the peace of Christ be with you.
ALL: And also with you.

One: O God, you are far above all creation. May your glory blaze into every corner of our world!
All: May our praise burst forth in exuberant music! May it wake even the day into being.
One: We depend on your grace, on your immeasurable love, our Sovereign.
All: It is to you whom we look to for shelter from the chaos of life; like chicks with their mother, we feel secure under the covering of your wings.
One: We give voice to our unbounded gratitude toward you, Sovereign God, and speak your praises to all who will listen.
All: O God, you are far above all creation. May your glory blaze into every corner of our world!

One: As the Psalmist writes,

One:

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

All: May the same Holy Spirit that moved through the authors of Scripture now open us to the truth of the word read and proclaimed this morning. We desire to learn and grow in faith. Amen.
