Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
O God, we are filled with joy and expectation as we wait for the birth of your son, Jesus. We know that on that day the world was forever changed, and we were given new life. Such a generous gift is beyond measure, and we are humbled. Help us to repair our fallen ways, and make room for the Lord in our hearts. Help us to heal the brokenness of the world, to make way for your light. In you we find our strength, help us to embrace your plan for us, and to be your hope for others. We ask in Jesus’ name. Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Elder Harvey Stephens |
Our Father which art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
