Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
God of all creation, as you led the Israelites out of Egypt, so you lead us out of out of darkness and into light. The nature of your Grace is a mystery we embrace as children, and the fullness of your love overcomes the burdens we face in the nature of living. We give thanks and dance in happiness for our many blessings! And, we kneel before you with bowed heads, when selfish intention tempts us away from what is good and true. Forgive us our sins and repair our hearts! Guard our path on this Lenten journey, as we repent from what has harmed us and claim what makes us whole. Let your mercy wash us clean, and keep our eyes focused on the prize you have prepared for us. We pray in Jesus' name, Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Elder Jim DeHart |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
||
Passing of the Peace | Love Divine, All Loves Excelling | Congregation |
God, source of all light, by your Word you give light to the soul. Pour out upon us the spirit of wisdom and understanding, that, through the Scriptures, our hearts and minds may be opened to know your will in our lives. Amen. |
