Good Morning… Palm Springs Presbyterian Church Members and Friends, Welcome back John Pagels, as substitute for Mike Johnson, who is still recovering after braking his ankle We have several topics to share with you today as the Life of our Church. To our members, we unfortunately have been informed 3 of our Pastor Nominating Committee, the PNC, members have resigned from the committee for various reasons. We want to express our sincere gratitude to Bill Miller, Margie Meyers and Melvena Schaefer for their consideration to serve on this important committee and understand we all have conflicting commitments. Our Nominating Committee has nominated and Session has approved 2 members to fill these vacancies on the PNC. These individuals are Carl Currin and Peggy Kueffer, who both have been extremely dedicated to God’s work for us all and our wonderful church for quite some time. Your votes, as members of our congregation, are needed to elect Carl and Peggy to the PNC. We have voting ballots here for you today to cast your votes if you have not already done so via email. (Hold up the voting ballot, which I will be bringing to church on Sunday). Simply fill out the ballot, sign it, place it in the envelope, seal it, and drop it in the box with your attendance and offering. Please be sure to sign the ballot, so your vote can be counted. Your votes will be greatly appreciated and will permit our PNC to move forward in focusing on calling our new pastor. Several of our committees are looking for volunteers to dedicate a small amount of their time to various tasks. If you would be interested in serving on our Worship, Building & Grounds or Mission committee, please call us at the office. Your help will be greatly appreciated. We have so many birthdays to celebrate this week! Happy Birthday wishes go out to: - Nancy Spencer - Luis Diaz - Daniel Morgan - Bonnie Koster - Bill Cameron, our Worship Committee Chairman - And lastly, our wonderful and talented Music Director, Alex Danson May you all have a wonderful birthday, and may God bless you with his love, great health and happiness all year long. |

Gathering Song | God Welcomes All | Hymn #399 |
ONE: The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God,and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. The Lord be with you, ALL: And also with you. |
||
Welcoming | My Peace | Rev. Thelma King |
ONE: Let us draw near to God with sincerity of heart and full assurance of faith, our guilty hearts sprinkled clean our bodies washed with pure water. Let us confess our sins before God and one another. ALL: Christ have mercy, Lord have mercy on us. Remember the promises you make to us in our baptism, forgive our sinful ways and heal our brokenness. Set us free from all that enslaves us, and raise us to new life in Jesus Christ that we may be your faithful servants, showing forth your healing love to the world, to the glory of your holy name. AMEN |

Life of the Church | Come, Share the Lord | Elder Pauline Gregg |
Hear the Good News! In baptism you were buried with Christ! In baptism you were also raised to life in him, through faith in the Power of God who raised Christ from the dead. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life is gone; a new life has begun. I declare to you in the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven. AMEN |

Passing of the Peace | God of Grace and God of Glory | Congregarion |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
