Almighty God, you love us, but we do not love you fully. You call, but we do not always listen. We often walk away from neighbors in need, wrapped up in our own concerns. We often condone evil, hatred, warfare and greed. God of grace, help us to admit our sin, so that as you move toward us in mercy, we may repent, turn to you and receive forgiveness through Jesus Christ our Redeemer. AMEN

Leader: Hear the good news! Who is in the position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us.
Congregation: Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun.
Leader: Friends, believe the gospel
Congregation: In Jesus Christ, we are forgiven.

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

God, source of all light, by your Word you give light to the soul, Pour out upon us the spirit of wisdom and understanding that, being taught by you in Holy Scripture, our hearts and minds may be open to know the things that pertain to life and holiness; through Jesus Christ our Lord. AMEN
