| Prayer of Confession (Responsive) | ||
One: Let us confess our sins to God, for the Holy One is steadfast in love and always ready to forgive. All: All Seeing God, we live in a sharply divided world. We confess it is easy in the noise of chaotic times to not listen to your voice. Fear and anxiety beckon us. We want to be comfortable, trading your call for complacency. Help us look at the world anew with your eyes with hearts full of compassion. Strengthen us with the courage of the one who laid down his life, to see the neighbor in the stranger, to not look past the vulnerable and in our actions point the way to the Lamb of God. We ask this in the name of the one who became love embodied for us. Amen. |
||

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
