ONE: May the peace of Christ be with you.
ALL: And also with you.

One: Siblings in Christ, Let us gather together with glad and generous hearts.
All: For God is our good shepherd who calls us by name.
One: Let us share our lives in common, giving to all who have needs.
All: We are never alone, for mercy and goodness pursue us our whole life long.

One: Because God is gracious and became love that lives among us, let us boldly confess our sin before God and one another.
All: O Lord our God, you call us to proclaim the gospel, but we remain silent in the presence of evil. You call us to be reconciled to you and one another, but we are content to live in separation. You call us to seek the good of all, but we fail to resist the powers of oppression. You call us to seek justice and peace but we are satisfied with injustice and discord. You call us to bring liberty to the oppressed, but we do not insist on freedom for all. Forgive us, O Lord. Turn us to your will by the power of your Spirit, so that all may know your justice and peace; through Jesus Christ, your Son our Savior.

One: Do not fear says the Lord, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by name and you are mine.
All: God

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

All: God of abundant life, your grace is our daily bread. Nourish us by your Word and fill us with your Spirit so that we may grow in faith and love; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
